just discovered this app. Love that I can visit anywhere in the world. Great work.

This is an pretty amazing app that is so useful especially for someone who travels. Im excited to see it develop as they start building more stories in other cities! Definitely a brilliant idea and interesting stories that I never would have heard otherwise!n

I think the developers are really on to something with this app, but I cant give it a good rating. Used it a bit... Then set it aside for a few hours. I noticed the GPS icon was still showing later in the day, and my battery was draining quickly. I killed all running apps... GPS still active. Rebooted, GPS icon still there even though no apps were running. Started doing some more methodical troubleshooting and determined GPS was always running regardless of whether Tagwhat was active or even in the background. Removed it and after that, all was well again.

I liked this app a lot. It didnt always know where I was but was better than my AAA Tour Guide. Then it started requesting - incessantly - access to my non-existent Twitter account. Well I got tired of answering "No" many times a day and deleted and reinstalled the app, thinking perhaps it didnt install correctly. Round two is no improvement, with the incredibly annoying and totally misplaced Twitter access requests. Im done with it.

I learn things all the time. Push notify is perfect.

As another reviewer mentioned, Tagwhat remains on in the background even if you turn it off, and uses location services to drain your battery. Not worth it.

The deals and events functionality just works. Its crazy...almost seems like magic. If youre ever looking for something to do, just fire up this app and youll mostly likely find something near you. And it always is nice to know if there are any deals/discounts or specials going on.

Just downloaded and trying out and I like what I see. I connected all my social sites -FB, Twitter, Foursquare - and like the rich content shares based on my location. Especially like the range setter so I can determine my own definition of local. Right now Im set to rural so I can see how far the reach is. Excellent first impressions for this user.

Learned about tagwhat through Robert scoble. This is a nice new twist in the deals space. Ill be using this quite a bit I think.

Its about time someone cut through the noise of these social networks and gave us something useful. Great app.
